The number of real roots of x^5+2x^3+x^2+2=0 is ___?

    $x^5+2x^3+x^2+2=0$

    $\Rightarrow (x+1) (x^2+2)(x^2-x+1)=0$

so $(x+1)=0 \Rightarrow x=-1$ is only the real roots
