n will take values from -4 to +4, isn't it?(Because range of principal argument,i.e., theta, is from -π to +π, so 4*(theta) must be from -4π to +4π)

They are asking how many different values of $\theta$ are there.

and that is $\frac{n\pi}{4}$. where n is an integer.

i.e $\theta$ will take the different values for different values of $n$ . Whatever range of $n$ you will take you will get 8 distinct values only.
