I agree with you, it is the lowest value. I want is there a shortcut to know the approx / exact value of    (1.001)^1000     and        (1.01)^1000

The polynomial  ax^3 + bx^2 + cx + d  has integral coefficients  a,b,c,d .  If ad is odd and bc is even, show that at least one root of the polynomial is irrational.
