    12. Let us say there are x guppies in the 4th tank.

    Therefore, there are x-3 guppies in the 3rd tank.

    Therefore, there are x-5 guppies in the 2nd tank.

    Therefore, there are x-6 guppies in the 1st tank.

    Adding up, we get 4x - 14 = 90

    x = $\frac{104}{4}$ = 26

    E) 26

    11. The base of the triangle is 11 - 3 = 8

    The height is (y-7)

    8 $\times$ (y-7) $\times$ $\frac{1}{2}$ = 4 $\times$ (y-7) = 12

    y-7 = 3

    y = 10

    The answer is C) 10

    10. In January 1980, the $CO_{2}$ levels were 338 ppm.

    Every year, the $CO_{2}$ levels increased by 1.1516 ppm.

    In Jan 2030, would be 338 + 50 $\times$ 1.1516 = 338 + 57.58 = 395.58

    In the options, the closest number is 399.

    A) 399.

    9. Let us say Maria has n blue marbles.

    Then, she would have $\frac{n}{2}$ green marbles and $\frac{n}{4}$ red marbles.

    Therefore, the total sum of marbles is $\frac{7n}{4}$.

    Since gcd(7, 4) = 1, $\frac{7n}{4}$ would be a multiple of 7.

    Hence the answer would be E) 28.
